Graduate entry medicine structure

Depending on your previous qualifications and work experience, you may be granted entry into the second or third year of a 6-year medicine course in English, and the opportunity to graduate sooner.

Existing healthcare-related Bachelor’s and Master’s degree holders will be exempted from subjects they have previously studied. In the first 1 or 2 years, you will be catching up with the necessary seminars and theory needed to become a doctor. The last 2-3 years are dedicated to clinical practice in different hospital departments

The first year consists of studying pre-clinical subjects and the foundation of medicine.

Years 2 - 3

These years are heavily focused on clinical rotations and training in hospitals.

Year 4 (final year)

The final year is an intensive clinical rotations year where 95% of the time you will be shadowing doctors and helping diagnose and treat patients.

Graduation

After successfully passing the state examinations, you will receive a Master's degree and eligibility to practise as a doctor (MD).
